FLUMP Sludge Removal System
The FLUMP (floating lagoon pumper) solves a growing industrial and municipal environmental problem in a low-cost, efficient manner – i.e., the removal of settled wastes and other by-products that no longer may be scattered over the countryside, but, instead, must be contained in settling ponds or lagoons that are built to prevent wastes from leaching into the water-table. Customers (see below) also use the FLUMP Sludge Removal System (FLUMP) in a wide variety of dredging applications unrelated to environmental compliance issues.

The FLUMP is an integrated system comprised of major standard and optional components – i.e., flotation system, primary and secondary motors, hydraulic and electrical systems, cutterhead, pump, ladder, manual or programmable computerized controls, cabled traverse system, Pivoting Traverse System, and Crisafulli Integral Floating Discharge System – collectively referred to as the FLUMP, many of which are discussed in this Web site.

The FLUMP is the small dredge that’s big on performance. It’s priced right for today’s tight budgets. We build four models of the FLUMP (3” Standard Duty, 3” Severe Duty, 4” Severe Duty, and 6” Severe Duty), all powered with electric motors – 15 HP to 150 HP - with various cutterheads, control systems, dredging and pumping capacities, and standard dredging depths to 12 feet. (Custom depths to 30 feet) Use the FLUMP to clean your pond or lagoon of sludge, sediment, biosolids or residuals.
